Watch the Throne was not even a top 20 album of 2011. This cast on MTV is a joke indeed! Album was a huge disappointment but apparently they heard another version of it?

You know whats funny Joey, i think the decision too do a concert video was predetermined. With the reaction that were getting each and every time they performed paris, capturing footage from one of those shows isn’t far fetched. I also feel it wasn’t a rush to release the paris video. It’s Jay-z and Kanye, they don’t have deadline they make us wait impatiently because they have reached that stature.

Like i said in the post i wasn’t trying to undermine what Ye accomplished with this video. It left me a tad bit unsatisfied but far from a horrendous offering. The editing and the way they captured the audience is indeed superb and i’m sure Kanye as a director will only continue to bring forth more visuals that push the boundaries. As much as we both hate concert vid’s we also can come to the conclusion we have yet to see one quite like this. It’s 3am, i’m tired. Fuck Typos and errors get money.

Personally, I dislike when artists promote a song, and than put out a concert video as the music video… makes me want to ask..was that your creative vision for the song originally?

But given the current events that have been happening in Jay and Ye’s life with BIC n all, it just could have been that the timing just wasn’t there for a “that shit cray!” type of video, and maybe the PR wouldn’t have been the right time either.

with THAT being said, we could assume this was the best the could offer at the time. What was your take on it as a concert video? I think Ye is a fucking creative genius that likes to give people seizures.

I greatly appreciate the feature from tape deck for the mixtape. I just wana say thanks to those who took the time to download and LISTEN to the songs and let you all know how humbled I am from the responses. This mixtape was never about me as an artist but more so about two producers who changed my life (literally). My whole perspective of music and my appreciation for what goes into the creation of it was molded by these two individuals primarily. This mixtape is not mine, its eternal donuts – nujabes & j dilla ft. tremayne. To the families of these amazing individual if any of you get a chance to peep this I hope I did these individuals justice and to Seba Jun and James Yancey R.I.P and thank you.
