Hayden Hoffman – Take Me Home [The Mavrik Remix] (ft. Jason Webber)

Here’s a new mix from The Mavrik where he takes Hayden Hoffman’s ‘Take Me Home’ record and turns it into a dub step banger. Listen to it below.

Skrillex & Damian Marley – Make It Bun Dem

Dubstep powerhouse, Skrillex joins forces with reggae phenom, Damian Marley for an original track that really pushes the boundaries of music genres. Hear what the two have mixed up in their latest release titled ‘Make It Bun Dem’.

Jake Sweeney-Juicy Adventure (Three 6 Mafia X Adventure Club)

Even though the title, Juciy Adventure sounds like a strippers documented journey across the world, it’s far from that. Blending the classic 3-6 Mafia “Gotta Stay Fly” and the dubstep hard-hitting but soulful sound of Adventure Club you get a pretty swagged out mix-up. Keep them coming Jake!

Ultra Music Festival // Miami [Recap]

Over the past weekend I got the chance to attend ULTRA, one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world, which took place at Bayfront Park in Miami. The park held seven stages spread out all over and trying to travel between them all was near impossible due to the amount of people. It was PACKED!! The lineup was also so crazy over the course of 3 days that there were a lot of overlapping set times of producers I wanted to check out, so I had to pick and choose on the spot. I got to hear unbelievable sets and exclusive music that it’s hard to remember it all due to running on nearly no sleep. Luckily, I got over 50+ gigs of video and pics to help with that. EPIC is all I can say.

I want to give a shout out to @OfficeRavers for letting me roll with them all week. We had some good times! Also, we will be working on some visuals for their new track that should be dropping in the coming weeks based off all the footage I collected down in Miami. Anyways, hit the jump to see all the pictures for now…

Zeds Dead & Omar LinX-Victor(Mixtape)

Zeds Dead & Omar LinX latest project Victor is a collaboration is what i consider out of the box hip-hop in the best possible way. It’s a fusion, a collage, and the future of rap/dubstep. It doesn’t sound forced or cluttered. Omar raps over this kind of production effortlessly, showcasing his range and ability to tackle the most unorthodox production. The samples also are a great addition to the sound of the project. Overall i was thoroughly impressed, being someone who hasn’t been cheering for the pending dub-step/hip-hop cross over i didn’t expect this. An authentic rap mixtape with the kind of twist that will make you a gem in a pile of trash. A stand out down below but i recommend hitting the jump and streaming the 7 track project in it’s entirety.

Iggy Azalea-PU$$Y (Jason Smith Remix)

Exclusively from the Moodswing x KarmaLoop SXSW mixtape mixed by Benzi and Black Cards which drops tomorrow – Jason Smith has truly out done himself this time with a fire remix of Iggy Azalea’s risque titled song “Pu$$y”. This genre defying rework takes Iggy’s hard lyrics and adds in a combination of moombahton drums, dubstepping womps, and an array of electro synths.

Word? This is the first female on XXL freshman list???? Jason did swag out though on the remix.

Valléo & MarQuis Collins-Dream-Catcher (Prod. The Fresh Republic)

I’m still reluctant to co-sign the intertwining of dubstep & hip-hop but i will co-sign Valléo & MarQuis Collins latest single. It’s hard to deny this one. Imad El-Amine of The Fresh Republic on the production. Look out for Valléo & MarQuis Collins collaboration album produced entirely by The Fresh Republic also entitled Dream-Catcher

Skrillex – Bangarang [Music Video]

The Lost Boys take over in the latest Skrillex visuals. The video takes references from the movie Hook in which Ruffio becomes the leader of the Lost Boys when Peter grows up. However, director Tony T. Datis decided to put a little modern twist to it incorporating hoodlum kids with explosives causing havoc to an ice cream man. Take a look at the video posted above and grab his recent Bangarang EP.
